These 2 boats - one with 4 Americans and one with 4 Brits, All novices - will be much better informed and encouraged as they start their trip. As someone else said...mooring in the Bancroft Basin has been a dream of theirs - it has been a dream of mine since 1996 and thanks to encouragement from this list it may actually happen. I appreciate the information about how to manage the Hatton locks, slowing down while passing boats and other things that have been passed along. The panorama views of Stratford are amazing. Thanks for that gift too. We will be starting from Warwick, bridge 49 on the 22nd a much better informed crew than we would have been without you. It will certainly benefit us and hopefully benefit you as well. Remember the kettle will be on and you are invited.
