I am re-posting this in a new thread, as it was "hidden away" in the "BW shutting towpaths" thread, so some may have missed it. Thanks for passing on this terribly sad news, Martin. I find it hard to imagine the waterway scene without Mike - he was one of the pillars of the waterways to my way of thinking.
