I've just been talking on the phone to Wendy (who is doing her level best to think of the good times, the wonderful forty years for which she and Mike were married, and the years even before that during which they were friends). She can't access the Internet at the moment (it was always Mike who did that) but I shall be collecting the posts here for her, and passing them on.
And I just want to add that Mike was the sort of man who just shone life and joie de vivre and enthusiasm from every pore, and I feel very proud and privileged to have known him.
