I ran out of fuel going up Hatton. It surprised me as I had filled up
on the previous trip at "Black Horse" about 6 days cruising time.
Someone felt they had more right to the diesel than I did while I was
on my home moorings. So now I carry a 20L Jerry can by the weed hatch
under the stern deck.
Last year we went to the Blue Lias,(met loads of orible boaters being
silly for the weekend) the plan was to return via Calcutt and fill up.
Her indoors wanted to go the other way round and I used the reserve can
about half a day before Frazly Junction where we filled up both main
tank and can.
