Very dry here in the Severn feeder area for the last 24 hours dispite forecasts 
of rain. Lots of mud but no standing water - the last lot should be past 
Shrewsbury by now.

Snow due up north I understand.
We have done OK over here in the East, lots of wind and the ground is 
saturated so I have to keep an eye to the dike that runs down the back 
of the cottage. We have had the garden flooded to the door step in the 
past, nowt compared to your problems.
