On the subject of Diesel I bought a new Vauxhall Zafira a year ago. I found that everytime I filled up with Sainsbury's diesel, our closet supermarket, I got a stench of burning rubber coming out of the exhaust. So powerful I thought the brakes had seized the first time. I'm now using BP's Ultimate and not only does it give the car (even) more zip but I get about 6% more miles to the gallon, according to the computer.
