Hi all,

Many thanks to all for your kind words and sympathy. We've managed
to put the garden back together although one of the conifers looks
drunk, one lavender bush might not survive and the dragon sculpture
is trashed (although Simon never fully finished it as it was
supposed to be a fountain). We are feeling less nervous and there
seems to have been progress in catching those responsible. Turned
out there had been an attempted theft from our site the previous
week which was disturbed by neighbours who got good descriptions and
a vehicle registration and also on the same night as us, friends had
toods stolen in the local area and again the theives were
interrupted by neighbours who took photos and got a registration
number. Strangely (not) a lot of stuff is very similar and the
registration number of the vehicle is the same in all cases. We are
hoping to hear if the police have finally arrested them. Apparently
it's a gang from Bedford who have also recently been targetting
Ivenhoe. Anyone with a mooring in that area who's had problems????
Do let us know and we'll see if any info matches.

Thanks again.
Debbi & Simon
