Hopefully you might be worrying unnecessarily there are a number of vans around that check for road tax. They are a bit hot on that in Lincolnshire, I was stopped for a check on a very minor road near Boston a while ago. There are an awful lot of foreign workers in the area that are neither taxed or insured. If that's the case - no problem! regards Steve

However, I had little experience a few weeks ago where I was in the right hand of two busy lanes in Stalybridge and saw a van parked on double yellow lines up ahead, which was forcing vehicles to move across to the right hand lane. As there was a car almost level with me in the inside lane, I put my foot down for a few seconds so that the other car could pull across behind me. It was only then that I spotted the back door of the parked van was open and someone was pointing a big camera thing at the approaching traffic! So, just at the wrong time, I had increased speed to about 35 mph! I haven't heard anything yet... -- Martin Clark Internet Boaters' Database http://www.lock13.co.uk/boats Pennine Waterways Website http://www.penninewaterways.co.uk ------------------------------------ Yahoo!
