I did - it explains how Graham managed to originate a UTF-8 encoded posting, but it still doesn't explain why your email client didn't render the dashes correctly, whereas mine (and presumably others') did. The difference is in the way our respective email programs handled the encoding resulting from Graham's posting method - he did nothing incorrectly as far as I can tell. -- Andy Greener n.b.
