AIUI, LPG burns somewhat hotter than diesel oil, which has meant that many such conversions have resulted in the engine being fried. However, it is possible (but I think not easy) to do it successfully. I once had to wait a long time to fill my car's autogas tank at a BP station on the A14 while a Scania 16-wheeler diesel filled its (propulsion) LPG tank. Adrian . Adrian Stott 07956-299966
