Just had an enjoyable weekend's trip up the hard bit of the GU, here's
the log:
Nice reading, Mike--well done. I can imagine the boats full of trainees giving
you some concern. Next week we're taking out hordes of kids on National Science
Week. In the morning half the kids are on the boats between Hillingdon Canal
Club & Cowley Lock, all having a chance to steer & all having a chance to
operate Cowley Lock.The other half of the kids are in the Clubhouse [classroom]
learning about the creepy-crawlies that live in the 'vasty depths'Generally a
good four days with the kids being very receptive to all the info thrown at
