My thoughts for what it's worth is that it should be treated only as a cool box 
and not a refrigerator. It claims to cool to 5 deg, but also says to 20 degs 
below ambient. If the interior of your boat reaches 30 deg say (quite easy in 
the summer) then you will only be cooling to 10 deg which is a bit high for 
refrigeration. OK for beer etc, which seems to be how they're pushing it 
according to the photos but iffy for perishables IMO. Better than nothing, but 
not perfect, are my thoughts.
