After getting Victoria through Struncheon Hill Lock on the Driffield
Navigation, I found I could not get her down again pointing in the
right direction and had to go backwards. This time the top cill while
underwater was not deep enough for the stern to get right next to the
gate, the bow being somewhat shallower (and mostly out of the water
anyway) managed fine.
