The mere fact that Tony Hales is campaigning openly means he is doing this with DEFRA's / Waterways Unit blessing. One can therefore surmise that SOS Hilary Benn is in serious conflict with the Treasury / Mandy. One wonders if the Waterways Unit staff are now worried for their jobs? Perhaps they now wish they had not been in conflict with SOW and for that matter a certain BW Communications Manager who left. Where the hell is RE?! Can he not show his face, after all his stupid plans will now come to nothing?
