Hi Trevor,

I have just bought a couple of Solar panels. They are rated at 130-watts and
cost me about £700.00. Size aprox 1.250mm x 975mm.
At the present time, I'm not gaining any benefit from these, because of the
short daylight hours, but they are charging from early light almost until
twilight, (According to my 1 to 4-led scale). I have no idea what they are
producing though.

When you are ready to purchase Solar Panels, put on your list:

(sales @ grantsolarpanels dot co dot uk) and have a look at this company
website.

These people are in Stroud, Wilts and are very helpful. I found their prices
to be best of all in my searches.

I noted that Tony Brooks, (Thank you Tony) said that a wind generator was
probably the best during the winter months.

There is a firm in Weston-Super-Mare that sell a wind generator which is 3 x
the output of the 913 that so many people purchase.
It is also larger and it costs about £1000. instead of the £450.00 aprox., that
the 913 costs. I am seriously thinking about this, so if anyone has Wind
Generator experience or knowledge, I too, would like to learn a bit more before
parting with some serious money! ~Allan~
