Oh dear Brian, there is a world of difference between the Austin Maestro's speaking voice system (only on the top model, IIRC) and modern OBD diagnostics. The Maestro wouldn't get certification to be sold these days so you wouldn't be concerned with its "diagnostic" output, lies or not ;-))) Roger
