I think everyone else is having the same thought - I've ambled up Cheshire Locks over the past 3 days and not seen a single boat on the move, though admittedly I've been ice-breaking much of the way. I did see two boats locked up with no-one home moored on the two water points outside the BW Red Bull Yard a couple of hours ago so maybe everyone thinks the cut is closed, it's not like anyone might need water, after all ;( Through Harecastle, then on to Festival Park in the morning.
