The best I can think of is a length of steel casing that they pile in 
before drilling in the North Sea. I would try contacting the companies 
at Bacton as their Condensate pipe line crosses the canal on its way 
from Bacton to North Walsham station and they are (use to be) keen on 
supporting local things, good for image. Even a damaged section would 
suit you, now how you get it on site and into a trench??
