I think that's pretty much right. My recollection was that the computer would default to the Symbol font given that the custom font wasn't installed. Symbol replaces Roman letters with Greek ones, hence the alpha-beta-gamma appearance. The end result, anyway, was that at least one Environment Agency office would routinely refer to BW as "the Greek squad". Richard
