I have been lurking on this list for many years now. We used to have our own
boat but gave it up some years ago. Since then we have hired a few boats,
and I have kept up by reading your great mailings daily. On Monday we are
taking a short last minute break for 4 nights from Oxford, leaving in the
afternoon and intend to go to Banbury. We like to moor overnight where we
can get a meal in a pub. I realise that our Nicholsons our sadly out of
date, can anyone advise.

We were in Banbury a couple of years ago and had an excellent meal in

It is a lovely old pub as it says on the website. If the Globe room isn't open,
ask someone and they will let you in to look around.
