The last time I stopped at the Boat in Thrupp they weren't doing food. I can't remember if this was the normal state of affairs or I was just unlucky. The Great Western at Aynho certainly does food, but don't bother trying there on a Sunday evening, as they don't open then. The only other pub between Oxford and Banbury that I've ever stopped at is the Rock of Gibraltar by Enslow Bridge.
