Having just watched the debate it is a shame the minister got cut off right when he got to the interesting bits. He had at least another page to go. Also, given the number of MPs with bits of waterways in their consistuencies (including mine who lives in an area with a canal boat on its sign) it's a shame a few more did not turn up. Still, even if some of the facts doled out were not quite correct and they were trying to score political points rather to often, it was good.
