DEFRA Sec of State Caroline Spelman has announced the abolition of IWAAC. Bad news.
The press release says After the abolition of the *Inland Waterways Advisory Council* Defra will develop future policy in this area. We will strengthen our relations with stakeholders who have an interest in inland waterways.
