Hello!

Let me first say that this is a great piece of software and just the one
 I was looking for.

Unfortunately, it is not possible to set the shutter speed and aperture
for my PowerShot G7. I have tried some things and also did some
modifications to the code. Here are my experiences:

When i ask ptpcam to list the properties my camera has, the shutter and
aperture settings are not among them (d01e and d01d).

But once i set tv/av in capture to manual and kill capture, so the
camera does not leave its state but the usb port is free again, i can
call ptpcam again and then, the settings are in the list and i can also
successfully query and set them (they camera also accepts and saves the
settings).

But the normal call in capture to set the aperture and shutter speed
results in a 200f (AccessDenied) error from the camera.

Then i changed the code of capture so that i can at least read the
settings. This works without problems. So i again changed the code such
that the read value gets set again just afterwards which also results in
a 200f error.

Any ideas?

Best regards,
Christian Reitwießner
