Welcome to the list. Yes, capture is a nice program. Unfortunately, nobody is maintaining it. This list receives perhaps two messages per year, and questions go unanswered. I'm also just a user, and I don't have answers to your questions. (I have an IXUS 400 that doesn't have manual aperture and shutter settings, so I can only use "ecomp" for -1/+1 kind of exposure.) I have another question: Is it possible to control two cameras from one computer? If you connect two cameras to your computer, how do you tell capture which camera to control? Would it be possible to modify capture, so it could handle this?
