I've been through this last week, and for what is worth, the Canon Powershot 
SX 100 IS is the reasonablest choice, I was able to come up with.

Note to Canon: it's really hard to get to this essential information of your 
products. E.g. try to search the SDK info on your site via the SX 100 IS 
page. Before I discovered this, I bought 2 unsupported cameras :-(

Looks like it can, but I don't don't have any longer term experience ATM.
