The only criticable thing to me it seems, that they seem to have rather high degree of heterogencity of IT-systems in use. They seem to relay on propriate technologies, mostly MS-Win etc. and they mostly depend on what their "vendors" sell them. Not a singel word on "Linux" or "open source software" or "vendor-independent development".
They are pragmatic. They must be pragmatic. Any real life quality targeted healthcare organization must be pragmatic.
Let's face it: there is no single open source medical IT application that, at this time, fits the PeaceHealth model, not even VISTA.
I am sure that sometime in the near future someone will propose Care2x to PeaceHealth.
