Hello,

this is unfortunately not a simple matter because of the following:

a) Not all like to see it discarded. Some are still seeing a possible use of
it in special situations.

b) Jabber chat requires the persons to communicate live. An email does not
require it.

c) Jabber needs an extra server while the intranet module does not.

Now the best compromise is this:

The intranet email module will still be included in the releases but if the
users do not want it, they just disable (hide) it via the system admin.

The Jabber client is a very good example of a plug-in. So if a user wants it,
he just needs to download it from your site and plug it in. The question is
how will it be actually plugged-in. If you have already an idea how it can
be done, please write a formal document about it and we can try to implement
it (but please do not mention Typo3). If not, then please be patient
because a plug-in concept is in the making, one that will not require any
change in code. One just copies the jabber client in a common plugin
directory and refreshes his browser to make the program be aware of the
plug-in.

This concept is very similar to the addition of new language versions.

What you need now is to make the Jabber client ready for eventual plugging
into care2x.

Please give me the url link to the documents about this xmlrpc via jabber.

btw: please find somebody who can help you in composing the english text in
care2x.de. Or you write first in german then ask somebody to translate it in
english.
