Nandalal Gunaratne, I am still in proof of concept. And daily i got new resources. Maybe different CD versions and a DVD version is necessary.
Asterisk is meanwhile inside my concept plan. The advantage is that you route from Asterisk your phonenumber to a DSL Gateway with DYNdns. You can login somewhere in the world to internet and have full access to your homephone or phone inside the company. All is possible to tunnel the Internet inside a VPN. It will be a solution for hospitals that do their datatransfer with isdn. I got a link that you can live per click different software programs into your home if you run Care2x CD only from CD. But i have not done any experiments with it. As far as i can see you can do for example if there is a new version of care2x simply upgrade via the Knoppix CD with only one link. Daja from Rocklinux told me via Jabber that he like to discuss at Linuxtag an integration of Care2x and Typo3 in their distribution and for TYPO3 they use Care2x.de for demonstration at Linuxtag. The key for all will be as far as i see an LDAP solution for care2x. The skype is able to connect normal telephone hardware from end of the summer. (price near ~1.3 cent per minute all over the world). For connection to a normal phone or mobile phone. NG> Thanks a lot Wilifried, I will persue the Asterisk NG> idea. Meanwhile I would like to know more details NG> about the care2X CD, What is in it re care2x and what NG> else is there? NG> A light version for quick download maybe a good idea NG> as a whole 700MB CD takes a long time to download.... -- Mit freundlichen Grssen Wilfried Goedert mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email sponsored by Black Hat Briefings & Training.
