Asterisk is meanwhile inside my concept plan. The advantage is that you route from Asterisk your phonenumber to a DSL Gateway with DYNdns. It will be a solution for hospitals that do their datatransfer with isdn. I got a link that you can live per click different software programs into your home if you run Care2x CD only from CD. But i have not done any experiments with it. As far as i can see you can do for example if there is a new version of care2x simply upgrade via the Knoppix CD with only one link. Daja from Rocklinux told me via Jabber that he like to discuss at Linuxtag an integration of Care2x and Typo3 in their distribution and for TYPO3 they use Care2x.de for demonstration at Linuxtag.
