Hi all,

I am forwarding you this very good news regarding care2x development in
Africa, particularly in Tanzania.

Hello Mauri,

I had some troubles with the billing module. I was on the wrong way and last
four days programming I rebuild it to the system you can visit it on the
health.elct.org-server.
Actually, there are not all functions in it, but the main and heavy
functions seems to be okay. I had the troubles in some interface methods
that transmitts the prescripted or pending laboratory tests into the billing
module. On the other hand I had to implement an intelligence that gives me a
idea in what cases a bill is a pending bill. It sounds so easy and opened my
eyes why nobody had implemented a billing module right now. Especially when
you have a scenario of an patient that is admitted and went two times to the
doctor and got every time a new prescription.

Maybe you?ll find time next days to take a visit to my implementation idea
how practical it is. Tomorrow I?ll start to get a function to edit each
bill. This is not so complicated and should be done in the next two days.

Going through all the modules by building up the billing modules I found
some errors in different kind of modules. If you visit the health.elct.org
server you?ll see also on the main page a nice idea how we can use the
Selian logo (on the current care2x there is an error and no logo will be
displayed, by correcting it I used the logo of Selian - we can change it to
what you want anytime). This just an example how difficult it was and what
does it mean to build up an billing module.

Also you can take a view to the pharmacy module. That should be okay.

I know that the time is running. I hope that Akley can upload the modified
care2x after finishing soon. I can offer you that Alexander and I am could
come after 1st of September to fix some bugs what comes out by testing in
real world.

Robert
