Hello Ganesh,

AJAX would be a nice idea. Then we could generate forms having the
look-and-feel of any common application and it is platform independend. But.
but we should really hide the back-button. That's a known bug of AJAX. just
as an hint.

For reports I have just a question: Why there is no focus on
http://www.hisp.org/ ? This is also for reporting, in the latest 1.4 version
java and mysql. And it's made for hospitals need.

EMR-roadmap to version 3.0

Dear All,

Jess Pepito & Daniele Palmas have given 2 very valuable ideas. Please try
Ajax as it improves the application speed and gives much more.

Also if you are re-writing, for reporting try Jasper Report engine (freeware
-bit towards Java) as this will ease lot of work and improve ad-hoc
reporting.

Best Regards

Ganesh

New version, new look :) my thought.. much cooler if we could also apply the
AJAX technology.

roadmap to version 3.0

Dear all,

for the 3th generation of Care2x I suggest a total rewrite because it is
easy
to start from a new version that to patch the old version. In my opinion,
from a technical point of view, these are some requirements that have to be
achieved in order to have a professional software:

- Use of Php version >= 5
- Use of some kind of development framework (for example Zend Framework)
- Modularity: we need a small core which can be easily extended with modules

and plugins. All modules must follow the same behaviour and must have the
same way to access the core functionalities
- Database indipendence
- Common rules in writing the code
- Better documentation
- More and better comments in the code

Regards,
Daniele Palmas
