Joe,
I tried Caret on an older, PowerPC Mac running OSX 10.4.11 and Caret
crashed when I tried to use any of Caret's drop down menus. After
copying the latest Caret to the old Mac, I did not have any problems
with the drop down menus.
If you would like to try this Caret, it can be downloaded from "http://pub:[EMAIL PROTECTED]/pub/john/
". Download the file caret5_exe_osx.zip. Place the file in your
Caret distribution's "macosx_apps" directory and then unzip the file.
Please let me know whether or not it works.

As a Caret novice trying to work my way through the Quick Start
tutorial, I ran into the same problem as Manish Dalwani. Whether it
was the file location drop down menu in the Choose Spec Dialog or the
Model Selection Control drop down menu, any time a menu of this type
was selected, Caret seized up and the program aborted itself. I was
operating using Mac OSX.4.11. Please advise.
