I put two GIFTI surf.gii files here:

Human.colin.Cerebral.L.FIDUCIAL.SPM2.03-12.71785.surf.gii
Human.colin.Cerebral.R.FIDUCIAL.SPM2.03-12.71723.surf.gii

I exported them to GIFTI from these files, which are part of the Caret
distribution:

/usr/local/caret/data_files/fmri_mapping_files
Human.colin.SPM2.LEFT.71785.spec
Human.colin.SPM2.RIGHT.71723.spec

I can't guarantee that Freeview will read GIFTI, but many Freesurfer
binaries do.

This is a midthickness surface.
