I have some concerns about the use of Inspektr in CAS. While the concept and implementation are both promising, there are areas for improvement. I opened an issue about two months ago, http://github.com/dima767/inspektr/issues/#issue/1, for an improvement that would facilitate extension and customization by deployers. I have seen no movement on the issue; moreover, I'm not even certain where the project officially lives. I _thought_ it had moved to GitHub, but I'm not certain. Additionally, we have observed troubling performance problems with statistics collection using the JDBC storage layer. I would like to open an issue for that as well, but I'm unwilling invest further time and energy when the project appears disorganized and stagnant.
I hope someone can provide a status update on the project. I'm concerned we have adopted a dependency for which maintenance and development will be problematic.
