I've pushed the remaining ldaptive integration work that I'd intended to
complete up to my repo:

I addressed Jérôme's feedback [1] and commented on Misagh's pull request
[2] for the ldaptive CredentialToPrincipalResolver, which is the only
remaining component to be completed before we merge back with
feature-new-authn-api.
