I'm not familiar if that test generally passes or not, and if it does, is Maven 2.0.7 involved (unlikely). Since you seem willing to brave a non-standard/non-recommended build tool update, then you must be willing to brave unpredictable results. Therefore, you could try: mvn -Dmaven.test.skip=true -DskipTests=true clean install This will bypass the tests and just build you the artifacts.
