At my 4.3 error disappeared but authentication fails (login form from Jira appears).
I need to check jira configuration files, maybe there is a mistake.

I just tested successfully with JIRA 4.3. Looks like those mod for CAS Client
3.2.1 worked.

Scott, where can I download commited code?
I'll perform a test on 4.3 and 4.2.

I think the code I committed should work for both versions but I would
need someone to test it.

Would it be feasible to continue to support both JIRA APIs for the
duration of the 3.2.x and then just supporting the latest JIRA auth
API with the next CAS Client release (3.3 ?)

Yes, it looks like JIRA changed their APIs. We have an open issue
    for this.

Anyone have thoughts on whether we should attempt to make the next
CAS Client release compatible with 4.2 AND 4.3? Or just 4.3? Its
obviously going to be easier to just support one.

I have the same error after upgrading from Jira 4.2 to 4.3:

It looks like maybe Atlassian changed their APIs? Can you
            open a bug
report and we'll look into it to see if that's the case?

            Thanks

I'm getting an error from the JiraAuthenticator.getUser
