We had over 9000 in memory doing a jmeter stress test yesterday with no problems, but I do agree with your assessment.
You suggestion to set pool = false has worked like a charm. We have not run out of memory since redeploy 2 1/2 hours ago and 10,000 logins. You saved the day. I can't thank you enough.
