We have a third party CASified application called Canvas (like Blackboard). Anyway, the admin for the application calls me and asks why my CAS server made over 12k requests to his server in an 8 minute period at about 4am. His access log showed this:
155.97.yyy.xxx - - [29/Jun/2011:09:01:28 -0600] "POST /login HTTP/1.1" 400 9079 "-" "Java/1.6.0_24" "-" Where 155..97.yyy.xxx is the ip of my CAS server.
