You don’t have to pull in the CAS server source code repository at all. Just clone this overlay repo to your own local computer (where you have JDK and Maven installed) and do a build e.g. ‘mvn clean package’ at the top level directory. It will do the right thing and will build the final cas.war binary which you then deploy to your servlet container of choice. Does that make sense?
