Subject: Re: [casper] Complier problem - tut 1

Hi Louise,

This is should actually be changed to a warning. It used to be there to ensure
that the versions of Matlab and Xilinx were compatible and they were the
versions that we supported. You should be able to ignore it and continue with
the setup you have.

You can change the script to not give this error for your version by editing
this file
<https://github.com/ska-sa/mlib_devel/blob/master/xps_library/casper_xps.m> and
between lines 56 and 80.

Regards

Wesley

Hi All

I’m new to the CASPER workflow so I was working through tut
1<https://casper.berkeley.edu/wiki/Introduction_to_Simulink_ROACH2>
(Introduction to Simulink ROACH2) on the website and got all the way to
Compiling when I received the error as shown. I’m using MATLAB R2013b and ISE
14.7 on a Windows 64-but machine. I know someone who uses ISE 14.7 with MATLAB
R2012b and Linux and has recently successfully done this tut. Is this a MATLAB,
OS, both or neither problem?

Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks
