Hadoop uses RTC for all trunk code. There are some "experimental work in
progress" branches that just commit, but there is a review before it's
merged into trunk.

I'm -1 for CTR on a system as complicated as Cassandra - just makes me
nervous that stuff can be committed without a once-over.
