I feel your pain! I paid the same kind of figure a year or two back.
 
I think the Yacht Club at Fishing Bay has a jin pole and I'm sure you would find several folks who would help. Do you know any members who would let you use it.

Here's the quote I received just today for a Deltaville boatyard.

To drop the mast: the crane -- $125/hr + 2 guys on deck to handle shrouds and guide the mast @ $45/hr each - one hour minimum.  Total to drop = $230.

To raise the mast:  same as above, all over again.

Total to R & R:  $430!   WOW!
