Teleflex makes a stop cable that is pretty similar to the OEM cable on the boat. I think I have seen it in the Port Supply/West Marine catalogs. It is listed separately from the throttle/transmission control cables.

You can try www.marinedieseldirect.com  they have lots of Universal parts.
I don't doubt you'll pay a premium for the manufacturers part - Defender
seems to have a good stock of the different Morse cables as well. Perhaps
you might try a bicycle or lawn mower repair shop and see if they have
something similar or could make one up for you.
