To All Tall-Rig Owners
I need some advice. I have developed a rather large crack in my
Bowsprit. So large in fact, I am afraid to unfrurl my Genny for fear that
it will come off completely in a heavy wind. (It's a good thing this
happened at the end of the sailing season). I contacted Catalina and
asked if they have a replacement teak bowsprit and what would the cost be.
My question...Has anyone changed the Bowsprit on their Tall-Rig boat? If
so, how difficult was it to do? (It dosen't look hard, only removing
and replacing bolts). Next Question: Am I kidding myself as to the
degree of difficlty? (I have learned from experience, that
nothing is what it seems with a boat repair!!!!)
Thank you in advance list
