catalina27-talk: Stuffing box adjustment

Has any one used the “adjust-eze” wrenches advertised in the Mainsheet?  Are all C27 the same size? They look like one is 1 ¾ and the other is 2”. I tried using plumbing pliers yesterday and couldn’t get the back one to budge; I have had the boat just over a year and haven’t ever adjusted. Any suggestions? After you get it loose I assume the adjustments need to be done with the engine running?   Thanks Chris   Ragtime Lake Tahoe
