I'll give it a shot. The M-18 is a 2 cylinder, 14 hp, fresh water cooled
engine. It has a heat exchanger mounted over the transmission and a belt
driven fresh water pump. It has a raw water pump driven straight off the
engine.
The 5411 or M-15 is a 2 cylinder, 11 hp, raw water cooled engine. No heat
exchanger or belt driven water pump, but it does have a direct drive water pump.
My M-18 has a data plate on the front stbd side of the valve cover.

  Re. Heat Exchanger

You are a step ahead of me. Wanted to make sure I had not missed something
on my Model 15 (5411), raw water cooling. Did not think I had a heat
exchanger. BTW what is the difference in a Model 15 and 18? Heat exchanger?
