I believe that I have followed several threads just like this one over the past two years that I have owned a C27.
There is some date when Catalina stopped routing the ice box to the through hull. My 85, #5956, just drain into the bilge. Owners Manual drawing 4.3.4, "Through Hull Locations" names one through hull as "Galley Sink and Ice Box Drain." But drawing 4.3.1, "Pressure Water system" does not include a T for that through hull, and only routs it to the sink drain. I am the second owner of my boat, and based on everything else about the boat, the PO did nothing to the boat and did not sail it either. So I expect that mine is per the factory. John
