Ralph - All I can tell you is we had an executive board meeting at my house with the Fleet 8 board and the new Commodore of ICA27/270 in the spring when the whole issue was first proposed and Fleet 8 members accepted the Commodore and Technical Editors positions within the C27 side. Phil has stepped up and adopted just about every position within the C270 side. And thanks for that Phil. In that meeting Mark Elert agreed to become Commodore and approach another fleet 9 member about taking of the tech editor position. A 3rd fleet member (and also board member) agreed to handle organizing a 2008 Nationals. And I think another Fleet 8 board member has the National trophy that conveyed with the boat he bought that was the 2003 Nationals Champ. At least he did. Someone please correct me if I am wrong.
