I thought deck fittings were standard 1.5in for waste, but I could be wrong. That happens a lot. I do know on mine, the hoses would not easily go on any fitting. I used a heat gun on low setting to soften the hose. Add a very thin coating of silicone lubricant, and the hose went on with ease. Don, #6293, Niceville, FL
